This place is awesome! Miguel was extremely helpful and took the time to assist me with the best way to transport the fish I purchased back to Arizona. I bought some Medaka from him, and they are doing amazing! The quality of the fish was excellent, and I’m extremely happy with my purchase. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for quality fish!

Highly recommend Mike & Miguel Fish & Plant Store! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ All of my aquarium plants and fish are from here, and I’ve always had a great experience. Miguel is extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. He’s always happy to share advice and has personally helped me with issues in my aquarium and guided me on how to properly take care of it. Great quality, great service, and someone who truly cares about the hobby and his customers. Highly recommended!

I stopped by Miguel's fish store this afternoon. He was very friendly and welcomed us in. We chatted about our interests. The fish store was immaculate and well maintained. His QT process is excellent. It was very clean and felt very welcoming. The fish and plants all appeared very healthy. I also like that he has various terrestrial plants. This isn't like your normal big box or LFS. Not one dead fish. I'm happy to see he carries Aquarium Co-op products. Come here and you will NOT be disappointed. We chatted for about half an hour and looked around the store. He's very friendly and I love that he will sometimes play fun music's in his videos, including country and worship music in the background of his videos. Come support, I sure did from San Diego.

We recently started this fresh water aquatic hobby for about 5 months even though we have our koi pond for over 15 years. We are so happy to see the new store opening on the west side of town. We have been following Mike & Miguel on Facebook since the end of 2025 and were so happy they finally opened their store to the public last Saturday 4/18/2026. We made a visit to the store and couldn't go home without buying new plants and fish from them. Their plants are super healthy and of nice color. Their congo tetras are super big and beautiful which they breed. We also got some amazing dwarf neon rainbowfish which are also bred locally. Their prices are very reasonable as well. Miguel is very friendly and gives us good advice on fish and plants. We met and talked to both Mike & Miguel and they seem to have a passion for what they do. We highly recommend this place to whoever need aquatic plants or fish.

This is a great store if you are really into live aquatic plants and freshwater fish. I have recently become obsessed and Miguel is wonderful to talk to and learn from. They have different kinds of Medaka, beautiful endlers, and fancy tailed guppies, haven’t seen ones like theirs before. Lots of gorgeous Angelfish, cool rainbow fish, too. It was fantastic to talk and listen to other customers ask questions and speak with Miguel.
